How the score works
The six areas and the four-step scale (not started, early, partly in place, in place) are the same ones used in the AI Readiness Assessment report. Each answer scores 0 to 3, and “Not sure” counts as 0. Each area is rated from the average of its questions, and the overall score is your total as a percentage of the maximum.
What it can't do: it only knows what you tell it. The assessment adds what a self-check misses, such as the tools staff use without telling anyone (from an anonymous survey) and how your accounts are actually set (from a review with your administrator).

No. This is a free self-check based only on your answers. The AI Readiness Assessment (from C$1,500, before tax) rates the same six areas from interviews, an anonymous staff survey and a review of your tool settings, then gives you a written report, a 90-day roadmap, the policy gaps and a training plan.
Does the score compare us with other companies?
No. There is no benchmark and no industry average behind it. The score only reflects how you answered these questions about your own team.
How is the score calculated?
Each answer scores 0 to 3. Not sure counts as 0, because an area nobody can answer for is a gap. Each area's rating comes from the average of its questions: below 0.75 is not started, below 1.5 is early, below 2.25 is partly in place, and 2.25 or more is in place. The overall score is your total as a percentage of the maximum.
Do I have to give my email?
No. Your result appears on screen straight away. Email is optional and only asked after the result, if you want a copy. Nothing is saved unless you ask for one.
Who should answer it?
Whoever has the best view of how your team actually uses AI, often an owner, operations lead or office manager. Answers are more useful if two people take it separately and compare.
