Hero System Inc. sends business email under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). To unsubscribe, use the link in any message or email info@growwithhero.com with the subject “Unsubscribe.” Hero honours requests promptly (same day when possible, and within 10 business days at latest).

Express consent

The marketing checkbox on Hero’s forms is unticked by default and ticking it is optional. It names Hero System Inc. and shows the mailing address: Hero System Inc., 2967 Dundas St. W. #212D, Toronto, ON M6P 1Z2.

A message that only delivers something the person requested (a guide file, a booking confirmation, a receipt) may not need the marketing tick. It should still identify Hero and should not sneak in a sales pitch.

Implied consent for business email

Hero may email a business address that is conspicuously published, where the message relates to the person’s business role, and there is no statement against unsolicited messages next to the address. Hero records the source URL and date. No published address means no cold email.

How a stop is honoured

Treat as a stop: unsubscribe, stop, remove, “don’t email me,” a clear refusal, a hard bounce, or a spoken do-not-contact. Confirm briefly, add the address to the do-not-contact list, stop the next send, and log the date. No follow-up pitch after a stop. An unsubscribe mechanism must work for at least 60 days after sending.
