What this policy covers

This policy explains how Hero collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you:

visit growwithhero.com and related Hero pages
fill in site forms (guide download, contact, waitlist, AI Hour registration)
book a call or session through Cal.com
pay through Stripe Checkout, Payment Links, invoices, or subscriptions, if those are turned on
receive transactional or marketing email
interact with site analytics or ad tools
work with Hero on training, assessments, implementation (“Builds”), or monthly Care, including when third-party AI tools are used on information you provide

It is written with PIPEDA (federal) and Ontario practice in mind.

What we collect

Hero does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (for example health, biometrics, or government ID) unless you send it unsolicited. Please do not paste client financials, passwords, or children’s data into forms or AI tools.

Why we collect it

Provide the website, free guides, Free AI Hour seats, and fit calls.
Schedule and run workshops, team training, assessments, Builds, and Care.
Process payments, receipts, credits, refunds, and taxes.
Send transactional messages (booking confirmations, invoices, delivery materials).
Send commercial or marketing messages only with appropriate CASL consent or another lawful basis.
Improve the site and measure campaigns.
Comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, and respond to your requests.
For Builds and Care: configure tools, write guidelines, train your team, and maintain systems, using your business information as needed for the engagement.

Cal.com

When you book through Cal.com, Cal.com processes booking data as a service provider. Hero receives your name, email, and booking details to run the session. The public fit-call event is the Free AI Fit Call (30 minutes, Cal Video).

Stripe

If payments are processed by Stripe, Hero receives payment status, amount, and limited billing details needed for accounting and customer support. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored on Hero’s servers. Card payment is not turned on on this website yet.

Email and messaging

Transactional email, for example via Resend or Stripe, is for delivering what you asked for. It is not connected on this website yet.
Marketing email is sent only if you opt in via an unticked consent box that names Hero System Inc. and shows the mailing address, or another valid CASL basis.
Cold B2B email, if used, may rely on CASL implied consent for conspicuously published business addresses related to the recipient’s role, with the source URL and date logged. Every message includes identity, mailing address, and unsubscribe.

Analytics and advertising

Hero may use Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and advertising pixels (for example Meta). Non-essential cookies and pixels should load only after you agree, or with an easy opt-out. On this version, analytics loads only if you choose yes on the banner and only when an analytics tool is actually configured. Ad pixels are not installed on this version.

AI tools and client data

For training examples, assessments, and Builds, Hero may use third-party AI products (for example ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar). The practice in plain language:

Prefer anonymized or synthetic examples unless you approve specific content.
Do not paste passwords, payment card data, or unnecessary personal information about your customers into AI tools.
Client-owned accounts and data stay yours.
Where Hero uses AI on your materials, a Hero person reviews outputs before they are treated as deliverables, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Service providers Hero uses or may use include Cal.com, Stripe, Google (Workspace, Analytics, Meet), Zoom, MailerLite, Resend, Instantly, Apollo, Railway, Supabase, and an e-signature tool.

Sharing

Hero shares personal information with service providers who help operate the site (hosting, email, payments, booking, analytics), with your direction (for example connecting a tool you use), or when required by law. Hero does not sell personal information.

Retention

Storage and transfers

Data may be stored in Canada and in other countries where providers operate, often the United States. Providers may be subject to foreign laws.

Your choices and rights

Under PIPEDA you may request access to, and correction of, your personal information, subject to limited exceptions. Contact info@growwithhero.com. Hero responds within the time PIPEDA requires. You may withdraw marketing consent anytime.

Complaints: you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

Services are aimed at businesses and adults. Hero does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

Hero may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may be notified by email or a notice on the site.
